Johnnie began his career in insurance in 1982 working side by side with his father in a large central Missouri agency. In 2020 he joined the Fortress Insurance Services team, working out of a Jefferson City, Missouri office. Throughout his 40 years in the insurance industry, he has developed a clientele that have become much more than clients, they have become friends. He prides himself in the personal touch he brings to his clients. As a Producer for the Fortress Insurance Services team, he handles Personal and Commercial accounts.
Johnnie was born and raised in Linn, Missouri. After graduating from Linn High School, he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1976. Following his return to Missouri in 1979, he worked as a draftsman for Missouri Power & Light Company for two years before venturing into the insurance business. He is a member of the Jefferson Masonic Lodge #43, Capital Shrine Club, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and the Central Missouri Detachment Marine Corps League. He and his wife, Susie, reside in Linn, Missouri and enjoy spending time with their two daughters and their families – including five grandchildren.
